What is the operating process of the generator

1. Before starting, check whether the fuel tank has sufficient fuel volume and whether there is no oil leakage at all oil pipes and joints; Is the cooling system water sufficient, clean, and leak free, and is the fan belt properly tightened. Check that the transmission parts of the internal combustion engine and generator are reliably connected, the insulation of the output line wires is good, and all instruments are complete and effective.
After starting, the machine should run at low speed for 3-5 minutes, and only after the temperature and oil pressure wheels are normal can the operation begin. The generator should have no abnormal noise during speed increase, and the brushes on the slip ring and commutator should have good contact without jumping or sparking. After the operation is stable and the frequency and voltage reach the rated value, power can be supplied externally.
3. In case of abnormal noise, odor, sharp increase in water temperature, or sharp decrease in oil pressure during operation, the machine should be immediately shut down for inspection and troubleshooting.
4. The power factor of the generator shall not exceed 0.95 for delayed phase (hysteresis). The variation range of frequency value shall not exceed 0.5HZ.
5. Before stopping the machine, the main switches of each power supply branch should be cut off first, gradually reducing the load, and then the main switch of the generator power supply should be cut off. The excitation rheostat should be returned to the maximum resistance position to reduce the voltage to the lowest value, and then the excitation switch and neutral grounding switch should be cut off. Finally, the operation of the internal combustion engine should be stopped.
